Description: This setting of the Sanctus and Benedictus is one of three works by Josquin based on Ockeghem's chanson D'ung aultre amer (the others being a complete mass and a setting of the Easter sequence Victimae paschali laudes). The source includes, as a motet for the Elevation, a setting of the hymn verse Tu lumen, tu splendor patris.
