Description: A setting for five voices, SSATB.
The poem is James Mabbe's translation from the Spanish of Fernando de Rojas (c.1465/72 - 1541), whose only surviving work, La Celestina - Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea was published in 1499. Mabbe's translation was published in 1631.

Since she now loves thee best

Let joy be thy soul's guest,
