Biography

Addison Lam. Moore was born in Wheeling, Indiana. He and his brothers attended numerous singing schools throughout the region in their youth. He taught music in Kewanna, Illinois; Cambridge City, Indiana; Delphi, Indiana; and held music classes in Carroll County, Indiana. He composed some songs for schools and, with his brothers Charles, William, and Marcellus, all music teachers, wrote the music book The Regulus and contributed to others. He died in Barrstown, Missouri.
