Tobias Haak

Life

Born: 28. February 1985

Biography Born in Schwerin, Germany he 2004 finished school at the Musikgymnasium "Johann Wolfgang von Goethe". After studying early music singing and music theory and composition (both specialised on early music) at the Musikhochschule Trossingen from 2006 to 2010, he 2012 completed a master's degree in music theory at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Returned 2013 to his birthplace and works as a teacher at the catholic private school "Niels-Stensen-Schule Schwerin". At the same time he's active in several local ensembles and occasionally composes or arranges vocal pieces.

On cpdl he publishes modern editions of the Schwerin composer Thomas Mancinus and Samuel Friedrich Capricornus.
