Latin text Surrexit Christus et illuxit populo suo, quem redemit sanguine suo. Alleluia. Gavisi sunt discipuli viso Domino. Alleluia.

English translation Christ has risen and has shone upon his people, whom he redeemed with his blood. Alleluia. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Alleluia.
