French text Sortes mes pleurs hastes vous de descendre dessus le feu qui me consomme et ard ou mon secours arrivera trop tard que cependant le seray mis en cendre Modern French Sortez, mes larmes, hâtez-vous de descendre sur le feu qui me consûme et me brûle, ou mon secours arrivera trop tard car pendant ce temps je serai mis en cendres.

English translation Come forth, my tears, hasten to fall down upon the fire that burns and consumes me, otherwise all help will come too late for in that short time I will be reduced to ashes.
