Description: Polyphonic Communio for the 3rd Sunday after Epiphany. It may appear that the incipit in DTÖ is one note too high; beginning on fa makes it far easier to join with tone 7 verses. The Mode 1 and Solesmes versions are really only feasible if one assumes the incipit in DTÖ is an abbreviated version placed one note too high and begins instead on F.

Latin text Mirabantur omnes de his, quae procedebant de ore Dei.(Luke 4:22) Editorially supplied optional verses: Vs.1 Dominus regnavit! Exsultet terra, laetentur insulae multae. Vs.2 Illustrarunt fulgura eius orbem terrae: vidit et contremuit terra.

English translation All wondered at the words, which proceeded from the mouth of God. Vs.1 The Lord reigneth! Let the earth rejoice, let many islands be glad. Vs.2 His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled.
