French text Maudit soit cil qui trouva jaulosie premierement et qui veult mantenir ses loix et ditz et ses commans tenir. Obmis soit il de bonne compagnie. Je m'esbais comme a tel deablerie homme vivant se peult ou veult tenir.

English translation Cursed be him who first found jealousy and whants to maintain his laws, sayings and orders. Let him be dropped from good company. I wonder how to such devilry a man may or want to hold.
