Description: While the first and last line are from Psalm 100 (99 in the Vulgate), the rest of the text suggests a wedding ceremony, perhaps the annual Spozalizio del Mare in Venice. G. Gabrieli's eight part setting of the full text of Psalm 100 is here.

Latin text Jubilate Deo omnis terra, quia sic benedicetur homo qui timet Dominum. Deus Israel conjungat vos et ipse sit vobiscum, mittat vobis auxilium de sancto et de Sion tueatur vos. Benedicat vobis Dominus ex Sion, qui fecit caelum et terram. Servite Domino in laetitia!

English translation Let the whole earth praise God, for thus the godfearing will be blessed. May the God of Israel bind you together May he himself be with you, may he send you help from the sanctuary and watch over you from Sion. May the Lord bless you out of Sion, he who made heaven and earth. Serve the Lord with joy!

Dutch translation Juich de Heer toe, heel de aarde want zo word de godvrezende gezegend. De God van Israel verbinde u aan elkaar, en moge Hijzelf met u zijn, Hij zende u hulp vanuit het heiligdom en vanuit Sion behoede hij u. Zegene u de Heer vanuit Sion die gemaakt heeft de hemel en de aarde Dient de Heer met vreugde.
