Latin.png Latin text

Gratia Dei sum id quod sum,
et gratia eius in me vacua non fuit,
sed semper in me manet.

Scio cui credidi,
et certus sum quia potens est
depositum meum servare in illum diem.

In reliquo reposita est mihi corona iustitiae,
quam reddet mihi Dominus in illa die,
iustus iudex.

Bonum certamen certavi,
cursum consummavi,
fidem servavi.

In reliquo reposita est mihi corona iustitiae,
quam reddet mihi Dominus in illa die,
iustus iudex.

English.png English translation

By the grace of God I am what I am,
and His grace toward me was not in vain,
but it ever abides in me.

I know whom I have believed,
and I am certain that He is able
to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
shall bestow upon me on that day.

I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the course,
I have kept the faith.

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
shall bestow upon me on that day.
