Wolstu mich denn nit zechen lahn, Herori matori, So wolt ich zu einr andern gahn, Guretsch… 3. Der Mann muss jetzt sein Narr im Haus, Herori matori, Die Fraw lebt Tag und Nacht im Sauss, Guretsch…

English translation A wife was going out to drink, Herori matori, As her man didn't want to sleep with her, Guretsch, guretsch, Guritzi maretsch, Herori matori. If You don't want to sleep with me, Herori… I will go to another man, Guretsch… The man sitts at home as a fool, Herori… The wife lives happily day and night, Guretsch… English (literal) translation 1.
