French text  modernised Ces jours, la femme de Guillaume, Enceinte d'un moine bien fin, Dit qu'elle aurait quelque royaume Car elle portait un dauphin. Guillaume dit: "Et suis-je afin Où parent de race si bonne?". "Ce sera", dit-elle, "à la fin Le plus prochain de la couronne".
