Vattene o pigro vanne alla formica,
e da vile animal'e pargoletto,
impara providenz' intelletto.
Poi che peccando dal tuo popil stato,
e dalla gloria tua caduto soi,
giutamente dar brut'imparar dei,
imparer dei Mira lei,
che non ha maestro o duce,
come temendo innopit futura,
nell abonbondera il cibo suo procuro.
All' hor, che'i frutti tuo la terra spande,
le biade accolgie sotto il addo cielo,
poi lieta gode tra le nevi e'l gelo.
