Sia maledett' amore e chionquin lui giamai pone sua speme,
male dette sue face i strali e l'archo,
i quai sott' ombra di dolcezza poi,
reccan sec' a la fin dogli'e martire,
miser chen colui, che per amor se trov' in fest' e gioia,
che poscia pien di noia, infortunato stato si ritrova,
fugianlo donque coi sens' e col core,
e gridiam mor' amor moral'amore.
