English text
O’er glistening snow we swiftly glide,
Our ponies go, they’re true and tried;
The twinkling stars are bright and fair,
The moonlit bars their glory share.
Hear the jingle, jingle, jingle,
O’er the snow we glide,
To the merry jingle of the bells;
Oh, the jingle of the bells.
In merry mood we onward sweep,
The night’s too good to spend in sleep;
With joy and health, a merry band,
We have a wealth that tests will stand.
Such happy times, light hearts may know,
The bells’ sweet chimes in music flow;
The joyous laugh is sweet and clear,
Fond pleasures quaff with friends most dear.
