der Heiland ist geboren,
zu Bethlehem, dem kleinen Ort,
den er sich auserkoren,
ja eilet nur zum Stalle hin,
dort findet ihr das holde Kind.
Seht ihr den holden Gottessohn,
den König unsre Herzen,
die Krippe die ist nun sein Thron,
er leidet für uns Armen,
oh jubeln wir im Lobgesang
bis in den Tod Gott Lobgesang.
Oh göttlich Kind so liebst du uns,
und gibts uns Himmelsfrieden,
ist nun wenn ich treu liebe dich,
für ewig mir beschieden,
oh göttlich Kind, sei du ganz mein,
so sei auch ich in Zukunft dein.
