Latin text Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine, cum sanctis tuis in aeternum, quia pius es. Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. German translation Ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen, Herr, mit deinen Heiligen in Ewigkeit, denn du bist gnädig. Ewige Ruhe gib ihnen, Herr, und ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen. Danish translation O Herre, lad det evige lys skinne for dem evindeligt blandt dine hellige, for du er nådig. Giv dem den evige hvile, o Herre; og lad det evige lys skinne for dem.

English translation Let perpetual light shine upon them, O Lord, with your saints for ever, for you are merciful. Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Dutch translation Moge het eeuwige licht hen beschijnen, Heer, met uw heiligen tot in eeuwigheid, want Gij zijt genadig. Geef hen de eeuwige rust, Heer, en dat het eeuwige licht hen beschijne.
