Latin text Laeta redit Paschae lux Laeta sonate Jehovae Sionides Christus morte resurgit ovans Gloria sit Christo nostro victoria Ante pedes Christi morsque Charonque iacent Sit plausus Christo gratia semper Laeta pio populo Pascha perennis eat

English translation The joyful light of Easter returns. Trumpet the joys of Jehovah, people of Sion. Christ rejoicing rises from the dead. Glory be to our Christ in victory. Death and Charon lie before the feet of Christ. Let Christ ever be praised. Let Easter joy ever flourish amongst the righteous
