Biography

fl. 1573 - 1579. A member of a Dutch family of musicians working in Italy and Germany. He is probably the son of Franz (Francesco) Flori (i) and the brother of Franz (Francesco) Flori (ii), Johann (Giovanni) Flori, and Georg (Giorgio) Flori. The relationship to Gregor (Gregorio) Florio is not established. He is recorded as working in Innsbruck from 1581 and as Kapellmeister at Salzburg from 1596
