- Edition notes:
This excerpt from the oratorio Die Auferweckung Lazarus has been published in an English translation as "In the Resurrection Glorious" and was included as a suggestion for All Saints' Day in the Daw/Pavlechko "Liturgical Music for the Revised Common Lectionary." This edition is based on an Urtext edition and manuscript sources (both available on IMSLP); the original was scored for 2 oboes, 2 horns, 2 violins, viola, and continuo - since the violins play in unison for the vast majority of the excerpt, this arrangement includes one violin part and an organ reduction.
