Requiescat in pace [May he rest in peace.]

He walked humbly
endured hardness
and came soon to his reward.

Requiescat in pace.
Amen.

Text adaptations for a woman:
no change to the Latin, which equally well means ‘May she rest in peace’
She walked humbly ... to her reward

And for a plurality:
Requiescant in pace [May they rest in peace.]
They walked humbly ... to their reward
