Biography

George Herbert Knight was born in Yorkshire, England. He graduated from John Curwen’s Sol-fa College of Music in London and Victoria University of Manchester. He taught music in Halifax and Scarborough. He lived in Calgary, Canada; Baltimore, Maryland; and Illinois. He died in Oak Park, Illinois. He composed a number of small choral works.
