Biography
The hymn-writer, Georg Grünwald [Grünwaldt], was a shoemaker from Kitzbühl in the Tyrol (Austria). He was an Anabaptist and in 1530 was accused and found guilty of heresy. He was executed by being burned at the stake in Kufstein (Tyrol). [1]
