Biography
Charles Edward Scott Littlejohn was born in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland, and was educated at the Royal College of Music and Queen’s College, Oxford. He was or organist and choirmaster at several churches, including Trinity Church, Latimer Road, London; St. Saviour’s, Sunbury Common; St. John’s Episcopal, Coatbridge, Scotland; St. Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow (temporary acting); St. Barnabas, Paisley; Christ Church, Falkirk; St. Paul’s, Knightsbridge, London; Beckenham Parish Church, Kent; Great Warley Parish Church; and Brentwood Parish Church, Essex. He was assistant music master at Repton School, Derbyshire, and tutor at the College of St. Nicolas, Chislehurst, Kent. He died in Winchester, Hampshire. His compositions include service music, an anthem, and part songs.
