Description: This six-part Ave Maria setting is a contrafactum of the composer's Ave verum corpus. There is a short prolation canon in two voices with a decorative third voice at the phrase "et benedictus fructus ventris, Jesus Christus." The phrase "Ora pro nobis" is announced in the lower three voices and then repeated in the upper three voices in a strict inversion about D.
