Latin text Alle[luia,] Dei filius, ab hoste superbissimo, resurgens a morte, delens Evæ culpam. Latronem sero flebilem coniunctum beatissima perduxit ad regna quo iturus erat. Petrum cum ceteris visitat omnesque flebiles consolat, semper voce pia. Alleluia.

English translation Halle[lujah,] the Son of God is resurrected from death —proudest of enemies— [thus] destroying the sin of Eve. At dusk, almost too late,  He joins the mourning thief and leads him to the most blessed kingdom, where He is to precede him. Peter visits with others and consoles all mourners with ever-pious words.
