Biography

Robert Drury was born in Mold, Flintshire, Wales. In his professional life, he was a banker and worked many years as a bank manager in Liverpool. He was an accomplished amateur musician, known as a bass vocalist and an expert at Tonic Sol-fa. After retiring, he lived in Llandudno Cum Eglwys Rhos, Llandudno, Carnarvonshire, Wales. He died in Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales. He published a few hymns and part-songs.
