Description:  The twenty-fourth chanson collection from Le Roy and Ballard, the first edition of this volume contains five chansons of Orlando di Lasso, ten of Claude Le Jeune, two of Jacques Salmon and one of Jean Planson. This collection was reprinted in 1585 and 1587 with four works by Lasso, twelve by Le Jeune, one by Planson, and none by Salmon; and in 1591 with the addition of a work by George de la Hèle.
