Vidit Jacob scalam,
Summitas ejus caelos tangebat,
Et Angelos descendentes,
Et dixit: Vere locus iste sanctus est. Alleluia.
English translation
Jacob saw a ladder,
the top of which reached to heaven,
and angels descending on it.
And he said: Surely this place is holy. Alleluia.
