Description: From Warren's third collection of canons catches and glees. The Monthly Review, July 1767 reviewed a similar collection and mentioned this particular glee in the following terms: "The mere reader will doubtless be diappointed if he expects to find any degree of entertainment in this sing-song collection above that which he ordinarily meets with in the production of our garden-muses. As an example, what can be more namby-pambyish than the following glee?"
