Scores or work pages?

Chuck, the template seems to be counting the total number of pages that received new scores, and not the total number of scores on that month. For instance in August 2008, there were 102 new scores added to 100 different pages, and the total shows 100. Is there a way to change it so that it counts all unique entries? —Carlos 18:07, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm aware of that problem, Carlos, but at the moment don't see how to change that problem (the count for November should be 104, but because of multiplicities, it is only 101). I don't know how to make DPL do "counts with multiplicities" LOL. And there have been instances in the past where multiple editions of a work have been posted on the same day, so even our listing of "Latest scores" can be misleading. :( -- Chuck_talk Giffen_♫ 22:02, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi Carlos. By adding "distinct=false", I've managed to get November's count up to 104 which seems to be right!! :) ... although I still don't know if it would catch multiple editions of a work posted the same day. -- Chuck_talk Giffen_♫ 23:54, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
