It should be noted that this edition is somewhat abbreviated:

  • Lassus begins with the Passover and includes three omited choruses.
  • "The Passion...according to Mark" is from Lasso's #4, Numquid ego?
  • The servant girls' duets are of uncertain provenance...
  • the final "Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down." is set polyphonically in some (but not all) sources.

Otherwise the turbae are adapted to the English with fairly minimal intervention (compare "Aha!" to "Vah!" though) . Richard Mix 00:02, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
