The sharp (<i>musica ficta</i>) suggested for the first F of the Soprano 1 and the Alto is probably incorrect. "Paso a Paso" means "Step by Step", and I am sure that Manuel Machado had the intention of adjusting the music to the text, by giving a "step by step" almost-chromatic melody to the voices. It is important not to forget that Machado's style is already considered early Baroque. [[User:Nuno Raimundo|Nuno Raimundo]] 01:30, 4 November 2007 (PST)

Furthermore, there are two recordings of this song and none gives a sharp to the first F. (For more details on the recordings, see the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manuel_Machado_(composer)|Wikipedia article]])

The sharp (musica ficta) suggested for the first F of the Soprano 1 and the Alto is probably incorrect. "Paso a Paso" means "Step by Step", and I am sure that Manuel Machado had the intention of adjusting the music to the text, by giving a "step by step" almost-chromatic melody to the voices. It is important not to forget that Machado's style is already considered early Baroque.

Furthermore, there are two recordings of this song and none gives a sharp to the first F. (For more details on the recordings, see the [article]) Nuno Raimundo 01:30, 4 November 2007 (PST)
