DON’T SPLIT. The two "works" are the same piece of music, almost completely identical apart from the simplified version of the final "Amen" in the later version – and there are much clearer cases of works currently occupying a single page that should be split, e.g. where there are substantial differences affecting overall voicing, instrumentation, duration, and sung text. None of those types of issues occur here. The two different SWV numberings are simply due to the works being classified in publication order, and the work having been published once on its own, and then again in one of Schütz's collections. Please do split
In my opinion there are too many differences. There are much more differences than just the ending. Sometimes voices are switched so you definitely need to rehearse again if you want to switch from one version to the other. Gerd Eichler 22:50, 25 July 2013 (CEST)
split: I tend to agree with splitting. Just by having different catalog numbers and publishing dates is a strong argument in favor of a split, in my opinion. —Carlos (talk) 14:29, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Split discussion

DON’T SPLIT. The two "works" are the same piece of music, almost completely identical apart from the simplified version of the final "Amen" in the later version – and there are much clearer cases of works currently occupying a single page that should be split, e.g. where there are substantial differences affecting overall voicing, instrumentation, duration, and sung text. None of those types of issues occur here. The two different SWV numberings are simply due to the works being classified in publication order, and the work having been published once on its own, and then again in one of Schütz's collections. Please do split In my opinion there are too many differences.
