William Hauser revised it and added an Alto part in his Hesperian Harp, 1848; and Hauser's four-part tune was reprinted in William Walker's Christian Harmony, 1867. Hauser's Alto part was added to The Sacred Harp after 1911. Words by John A. Granade, 1804, with seven or eight stanzas.
