Song of Solomon 2:13b–14
Latin text
- Surge, amica mea, speciosa mea et veni,
- columba mea in foraminibus petrae, in caverna maceriae,
- ostende mihi faciem tuam, sonet vox tua in auribus meis:
- vox enim tua dulcis et facies tua decora.
English translation
- Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
- O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff,
- show me your face, let your voice sound in my ears;
- for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
