Stirps Jesse virgam produxit, virgaque florem, et super hunc florem requiescit spiritus almus.
Virgo Dei genitrix virga est, flos filius eius, et super hunc florem requiescit spiritus almus.

The rod of Jesse brought forth a shoot, and the shoot a flower, and a propitious spirit watches over that flower.
