Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright in all thy judgments.
My zeal hath consumed me, because thine enemies have forgotten thy word.
Thy word is very pure, O God, therefore doth thy servant love it.
I am small and despised, yet will I not forget thy word.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Trouble and anguish got hold on me;
I cried to God with my whole heart: Hear me, O God! Hear me, and save me.
For my soul is exceedingly cast down,
Waking I am so troubled I cannot speak.
Hear my voice, and consider mine affliction,
Plead my cause and deliver me.
Quicken me, O Lord, according to thy judgments.
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer my foot to be moved.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord will preserve my going out and coming in.
