Latin text
Quid trepidas, quid, Musa, times, quid tarda moraris?
Percute dulcisonae fila canora lyrae.
Nunc metus atque dolor, nunc anxia cura valeto,
haec etenim suadet gaudia summa dies
qua castum ingreditur, Guilelme, Renata cubile
inclite Dux, thalamum casta propago tuum.
Gaudeat exultetque ducum stirps inclita Bojum,
gaudeat, exultet stirps Lotaringa potens,
connubio hoc etenim stabili gens utraque clara
jungitur aeterno foedere, pace bona.
Hic igitur thalamus precor ut, Dux inclite, felix sit
Guilelme tibi, sitque Renata tibi.
