Clementine Vulgate (Psalm 92)

Latin.png Latin text

1  Laus cantici ipsi David, in die ante sabbatum, quando fundata est terra. Dominus regnavit, decorem indutus est: indutus est Dominus fortitudinem, et praecinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terrae, qui non commovebitur.

2  Parata sedes tua ex tunc; a saeculo tu es.

3  Elevaverunt flumina, Domine, elevaverunt flumina vocem suam; elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos,

4  a vocibus aquarum multarum. Mirabiles elationes maris; mirabilis in altis Dominus.

5  Testimonia tua credibilia facta sunt nimis; domum tuam decet sanctitudo, Domine, in longitudinem dierum. |valign="baseline" width=50%|

Church of England 1662 Book of Common Prayer

English.png English text

1  The Lord is King, and hath put on glorious apparel: the Lord hath put on his apparel, and girded himself with strength.

2  He hath made the round world so sure: that it cannot be moved.

3  Ever since the world began hath thy seat been prepared: thou art from everlasting.

4  The floods are risen, O Lord, the floods have lift up their voice: the floods lift up their waves.

5  The waves of the sea are mighty, and rage horribly: but yet the Lord, who dwelleth on high, is mightier.

6  Thy testimonies, O Lord, are very sure: holiness becometh thine house for ever. |}

Káldi fordítás (92. zsoltár)

Hungarian.png Hungarian text

Dávid dicséret-éneke, szombat előtti napra, midőn a föld alapíttatott.
Az Úr országol, ékességbe öltözött, erősségbe öltözött az Úr, és felövezte magát; mert ő erősítette meg a föld kerekségét, mely nem fog ingani.
Alapítva van a te széked kezdet óta, öröktől fogva vagy te.
Fölemelik, Uram, a folyók, fölemelik a folyók szavokat, fölemelik a folyók habjaikat,
de a sok vizek zúgásainál, a tenger csodálatos dagályánál is csodálatosb az Úr a magasságban.
A te bizonyosságtételeid igen hitelesek lettek; a te házadat szentség illeti, Uram! örök időkre.
