French text Prière après le repas (Action de Grâces) Pere eternel, qui nous ordonnes n’avoir soucy du lendemain, des biens que pour ce jour nous donnes te mercions de cueur humain. Or puis qu’il t’a pleu de ta main donner au corps manger & boire, plaise toy du celeste pain paistre nos âmes à ta gloire Dutch translation Translation by Dick Wursten Dankgebed na het eten Eeuwige Vader, gij die ons zegt ‘maak u geen zorgen voor morgen’ voor ‘t goede dat gij heden geeft danken wij u van harte, Heer. Daar’t u behaagt heeft uit uw hand het lichaam spijs en drank te geven, behage ’t u ook met hemels brood de ziel te spijzen – tot uw glorie.

English translation Translation by Dick Wursten Prayer of Thanksgiving Eternal Father, who orders us not to worry about tomorrow, for the goods you gave us today we thank you, with all our heart. Now, since it has pleased you to give our bodies food and drink, may it please you, with bread from heaven, to feed our souls to your glory.
