Description: This setting is attributed 'T. Clark' in The Congregational Harmonist, where it is marked with a crossed circle, a symbol used in that book to indicate 'originals' (i.e. tunes not previously published). The same text was also set by Clark to two other tunes: 'Burton', in his collection A Second Set of Psalm and Hymn Tunes, London: (1806), and 'Barham', in A Fifth Set of Psalm and Hymn Tunes, London: [c1809].
