Mister Gecko he American born
Come to the islands tootin’ his horn
He think the natives live in paradise
Mista better think twice.

He really smart. He got his attitude right.
Be respectful of the primitive life.
Crossin’ the street 'cause there ain't no rickshaw around
And then a Porsche Carrera mow him down!

Hey, brudda! Get down on your knees,
An amphibious tourist don't believe what he sees.
You better take a lesson from these island days,
When Mister Gecko didn't look both ways.

He gonna find him a grand luau.
Study the culture with plenty of chow.
Nobody feeds him when he starts to dance
Singing the Hawaiian War Chant.

He wanna soak in da tropical sun.
Don’t need no sunscreen to have him his fun.
After the hands of the clock go around
He redder than a nuclear meltdown!

Hey, brudda! Stop picking your fleas..

He go to talk to some indigenous folk,
Cooking MacDonald's over lava and smoke.
Pull out his language book to say "Hello",
they say: "Hey, man; we're Filipino!"

Now, Mister Gecko he a yank to the bone
The islands are fine but now it's time to go home.
He looking for the U.S. Embassy
They laugh, "You in America already!"

Hey, brudda! Watch out for the trees..
