Biography

Martin Rudolph, born 1967 in Karlsruhe (Germany), studied classical piano in Karlsruhe and jazz piano in Hilversum (Netherlands).

Works as freelance musician, conductor, composer, arranger, pianist. Wrote a lot of jazz music.

His first serious classical composition is his Pater Noster. He is working now on a piece called "Indian Requiem". It will be music in which the central human theme of "death" will be explored from a western/European and on the other side from a native American Indian point of view, trying to overcome the contrasts (like Europeans are afraid of what comes after death whereas Indians are glad and confident to return to mother earth).

Martin Rudolph is married, has a wife and 2 children.
