Biography Marika was born in Berlin, Germany to a Swedish mother and American father. She is fairly fluent in Swedish and has studied German as well.

Marika and her husband Kevin are the parents of 7 children, most of whom are schooled at home. She loves to cook, read and learn, has an interest in nutrition, and has written some books.

Marika has composed and arranged hundreds of songs. Her songs come in many different styles including hymn arrangements, children's songs, ballads, educational and even some silly songs. Many of them have been performed in sacrament meetings, firesides, baptisms, on the radio and at bookstores and other group settings. Marika's songs are inspired by real life experiences.
