Pater, si fieri potest, transeat a me calix iste.
Spiritus quidem promptus est, caro autem infirma, fiat voluntas tua.

NB: All publications in Lassus' lifetime (Selectissimae cantiones 1568, 1579) and posthumous Magnum opus musicum have in all six parts "oravi" and not "oravit". On the mount of Olives I prayed to the Father vs. he prayed to the Father.
