German text 111:1a  Ich danke dir Herr, von ganzem Herzen, 116:8  denn du hast meine Seele von dem Tode erretet, meine Füsse von Gleiten, 116:9  dass ich wandelen mag für Gott, im Licht der Lebendigen. 103:2  Lobe den Herrn, meine Seele, und vergiss nicht, was er dir Guts getan hat. 103:3  Der dir alle, alle deine Sünde vergiebet,und heilet alle deine Gebrechen, 103:4  der dein Leben vom Verderben erlöset, der dich krönet mit Gnad und Barmherzigkeit. 103:5  Der deinen Mund frölich machet, dass du wieder jung wirst, wie ein Adler. 118:17  Ich werde nicht sterben, sondern leben und des Herren Lob verkündigen.

English translation 111:1a  I will praise the Lord with my whole heart. 116:8  For thou hast delivered my soul from death, ... and my feet from falling. 116:9  I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living. 103:2  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 103:3  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 103:4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 103:5  Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. 118:17  I shall not die, but live, and praise the Lord.
