I trust in God most gentle,
I trust in God’s most open door.
I trust the quiet glory of God’s heart.
I trust forever more.

I give up rigid power.
And what I grasped of love.
Now I follow the cross revealed
A mirror from above.

O fragile finite human,
O depth of God beyond.
O sorrow turned upon that tree.
