Gehet hin, und saget Johanni wieder was ihr sehet und höret: Die Blinden sehen, die Lahmen gehen, die Aussätzigen werden rein und die Tauben hören, die Toten stehen auf und den Armen wird das Evangelium geprediget, und selig ist, der sich nicht an mir ärgert. (Matthäus 11, 4-6)

English translation

Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Blessed is the man who is not offended because of me.

Hungarian translation

Menjetek, jelentsétek Jánosnak, amit hallotok és láttok: vakok látnak, sánták járnak, leprások megtisztulnak, süketek hallanak, halottak föltámadnak, a szegények pedig hallgatják az evangélium hirdetését. Boldog, aki nem botránkozik meg bennem. (Máté 11, 4-6)

Id y haced saber a Juan las cosas que oís y veis. Los ciegos ven, los cojos andan, los leprosos son limpiados, los sordos oyen, los muertos son resucitados y a los pobres es anunciado el evangelio; y bienaventurado es el que no halle tropiezo en mí.

Idźcie i oznajmijcie Janowi to, co słyszycie i na co patrzycie: niewidomi wzrok odzyskują, chromi chodzą, trędowaci doznają oczyszczenia, głusi słyszą, umarli zmartwychwstają, ubogim głosi się Ewangelię. A błogosławiony jest ten, kto we Mnie nie zwątpi. (Ewangelia Mateusza 11, 4-6)
