Dulce lignum, dulces clavos, dulce pondus sustinuit. Quae sola digna fuit portare pretium hujus saeculi. Hallelujah! Hoc signum crucis erit in caelo cum Dominus ad judicandum venerit. Quae sola digna fuit portare pretium hujus saeculi. Hallelujah.

English.png English translation

The sweet wood and sweet nails [of the cross] bore the sweet burden [of Christ's body]. Only [the cross was] worthy to hold the reward of this age. Hallelujah! This sign of the cross will be in heaven when the Lord comes to give judgment.
